# Methodology

V2 corrects the v1 tilde row: ASCII U+007E has no named HTML reference; \\textasciitilde is a LaTeX text-mode command. No Microsoft equation command is asserted for that ASCII character. V1 files remain available for earlier citations and must not be used as the current corrected crosswalk.

The v2 release corrects the v1 ASCII tilde row and freezes the nine current typed registry records, preserves exact Unicode scalar identity, and publishes the registry's declared HTML and LaTeX forms with a field-level source map. Microsoft equation input is limited to commands documented as supported by Microsoft 365; the release makes no rendering or substitution claim.
